Our visit to Seattle brought together A sold-out crowd at the gorgeous McCaw Hall in downtown Seattle for AN IMMERSIVE TASTE OF the pacific Northwest on Sunday, March 10, 2019.

The audience met the makers we profiled in our Seattle episode, including Ian Jefferds and Tim Jones of Penn Cove Shellfish. Bill Dewey of Taylor Shellfish Farms joined us to talk about ocean acidification and Tyler Hansen of The Oystercatcher showed how he makes two incredible dishes using Penn Cove’s mussels, a smoked mussel with nettle puree and a lightly pickled mussel with a housemate hot sauce that he ferments for over a year.

A tasting experience and our Makers Market followed the live show, featuring food and drink from Seattle makers and producers.
