Rise to the challenge: If you have a crazy idea, just go for it!
Bold Spoon doesn't have any scoop shops -- they sell their products retail -- so in order to connect with her customers, she hosts monthly open houses on her farm, letting folks tour her production facility, see where her herbs and produce grow, play yard games and enjoy ice cream by the farm's pond. This is a far cry from her former corporate career, which she left -- during the pandemic! -- in order to launch Bold Spoon.
"If people have crazy ideas," says Rachel, "just go for it! ... You have to have faith. And if it makes sense strategically, even if the timing isn't perfect, then you need to rise to the challenge."
