Yoli's Beginnings

Marissa Gencarelli grew up in Sonora, Mexico. She wanted to create a taste of her hometown and tortillas were a natural fit, but then she had to come up wiht a name. She and her husband considered Sonoran words, but she says that they are difficult to pronounce and complicated to spell, so, they went in another direction. The name Yoli means "to live" in the Aztec language. It reflects their desire to try new things, live new adventures, just live life and enjoy it.
