Missouri Bourbon
Distiller David Weglarz of StilL 630 was one of the main drivers behind the creation of the official designation for Missouri bourbon. One of the most restrictive liquor laws in the world, Missouri bourbon has to be made with Missouri-grown corn, Missouri water, mashed and distilled in Missouri and also aged in Missouri-made oak barrels. Sounds restrictive, but all of the elements to make excellent bourbon are at distillers' fingertips in Missouri, where corn proliferates and most of the barrels used by distilleries across the world are made.
