Four Generations of Farming in Missouri

Castor River owns and operates over 2500 acres of land in southern Missouri. The farm has a history dating back to the 1970s of growing cotton, rice, soybeans, milo, wheat, corn ... Johnny Hunter II's grandfather "started here in 1954, so I'm third and I've got the fourth generation on the ground." While Hunter is carrying on his family's legacy, he approaches farming very differently. "I think we're all students of the time in which we live," he says. "My legacy is how ... can we create something that can go on forever."
